Every club has to work within a budget and, in CLUB, this is shown as the Salary Cap.

Players offered to you by an Agent have a salary attached to their contract. The total of all your players' salaries counts towards the Salary Cap. 

Be aware that breaching your Salary Cap will reduce your score in the upcoming gameweek! The penalty for overspending scales with the severity of the infringement. You can check your player salaries at any point by clicking on the Salary Cap bar. You can release players from the squad screen to help you stay within your Salary Cap.

Your club's Salary Cap increases every time you level up your club, enabling you to sign better players in the game without breaching your budget.
